On 12 January 2021, the Italian Parliament has definitely ratified and executed the ILO Convention n. 190 Violence and Harassment Convention, which will enter into force from the 27th of January 2021, through the Law n. 4 of the 15th of January 2021.
The Code, in addition to establishing those specific behaviours – including verbal ones – that fall within the scope of harassment, contains indications to prevent the occurrence of behaviours that can be defined as sexual harassment, through a specific training programme on the protection of personal freedom and dignity to promote and spread the culture of respect.
